Circles!

This weekend the Cae de Lune workshops are all about circles. Come and celebrate all things circular, planetary, & cellular, or do you think Os & zeros?

We will begin with a reflection on Clarissa Pinkola Estés Creative Cycle concept which may help your ideas to start rolling.

I provide the materials, music and a calming space to get creative, with as little or as much guidance as you require. Here are some circles I’ve been working on intermittently throughout this year.

If circles are your thing, come along this weekend, or check back soon for news on new Mandala classes which are beginning in the next few weeks. Find me on Facebook to hear about them first.

Good to know:

All art work is to be taken away at the end of each session so please bring a folder, box or a drawing tube (these are available to buy from the studio).

All workshops are LGBTQ positive spaces which welcome people from all backgrounds. We invite participants to reflect this in their choice of language at the sessions. Discriminatory culture will be challenged. Please see our policies for more information.

Group bookings:

If you would like to attend with a group of friends then please book ahead to ensure all members of your group will have a place.

A gentle reminder

Art making can be a powerful experience which offers a space for quiet reflection and sometimes meaningful insights can occur. It is always sensible to practice self-care and to progress at your own pace when you encounter thoughts and feelings which can be evoked during art making.

By taking part in the sessions you acknowledge responsibility for your emotional health and safety. This workshop supports good mental health and relaxation, but it is not therapy. If you would like to explore any issues in therapy, The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) can provide more information.
